What procedures do I follow if I want to make a change to the outside appearance of my house?

for ACC submittal forms, the ACC Standards & Guidelines, etc. The ACC meets on the third Wednesday of each month. Your plans and your deposit (if applicable) must be submitted by the Monday before the meeting date.
Are the streets in Pelican Point private streets?
No. Most of the streets in the Pelican Point subdivision are owned by Ascension Parish. The streets in The Greens, Pelican Isle Commons, and River Winds are privately owned streets. Residents who live in these sections pay into an escrow designated for street repairs.
How do I report a road issue or a drainage issue?
Go to Ascension Parish Citizen Service Center
. On the left side, click on Dashboard. Then click on New Request. It is suggested that you create an account so that you can see the progress of the request.
Who should I call if I witness a traffic violation?
Call the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. If it is a non-emergency, call 225-621-8300, option 1. In an emergency, call 911.
How do I report an issue with a street light?

How do I register as a new homeowner in Pelican Point?
Where can I get a Pelican Point decal for my vehicle?

form to request to have the decal mailed to you. The HOA office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:0am-4:30pm (closed 12:00pm-1:00pm); Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm.
When are the Security Guards on duty?
The Pelican Point Security Guards are on duty from 5:00pm-1:00am, 7 days a week. During Daylight Savings Time, they are on duty from 6:00pm-2:00am, 7 days a week. The security guards will monitor traffic coming in and out of Pelican Point and check that residents have vehicle decals. Because Pelican Point does not have private streets, the security guards cannot stop a vehicle from entering the subdivision. Both Pelican Point entrances and exits are equipped with security cameras.
What is the sign policy in Pelican Point?
When selling a home or building a new home, you must have a Pelican Point HOA approved sign. Click here for the Sign Policy.
These signs can be purchased through Diez Signs, 225-647-3608. For Sale signs are not permitted on empty lots. No other signs are permitted on any lot.
What do my HOA dues pay for?
Your HOA dues pay for:
- Maintenance, upkeep, and upgrades of common areas
- Irrigation systems
- Utilities for entrances, sub-entrances, guard house, office
- Maintenance of the lakes and fountains
- Maintenance and upkeep of the fences and signs
- Security guard coverage
- Security cameras, equipment, and maintenance
- Gate at rear entrance (maintenance, gate cards)
- HOA sponsored social events
